BE THANKFUL

Yes, day after day, we wake up early and go to work... working hard for paychecks. We strive to be the best we can be, earn a pay raise and go on that lavish vacation, but what about the minute things we  expect everyday, but without them, we'd we completely lost? What if we woke up tomorrow morning without electricity, clean water, and heat? We'd be screwed. I mean, think about it. We're now unable to drink water for survival (yes, we could build a fire outside & boil water... but what a process!), all our food in our once chilled refrigerator has gone bad, we're freezing, and we can't check our facebook's/instagram, so we must resort to actually verbalizing, instead of typing everything out. How awful does this sound?
Be thankful. Don't be a spoiled brat. Yes, you are using your hard earned money to pay for clean water, electricity, heat...etc, but what if you had to live pay check to pay check not knowing if someone was going to turn one of them off? Or what if one day, you couldn't feed yourself or your loved ones? Millions of people worry about these things daily, so don't be greedy. People drink dirty water, and some are cold/hungry when when they go to bed. You're not better than them, you just got dealt a better hand of cards. Don't take the little things in life for granted, someday you might be in need of help. Give back to your community, volunteer, try to make at least 1 person smile daily...because smiles are contagious, who knows, it might make it around the world.
