Each day we go through life checking off items on our daily “to-do” list that we feel are the most essential to our life: wake up, brew coffee, drink coffee, eat, workout, shower, pay the bills, do the laundry, go to work, eat, sleep, [insert a million other things], and repeat. We are each living in our own little world amongst our friends/family, whom are essentially checking off items on their own “to-do” list each day, as well. However, if we all took a step back out of our own crazy life’s to not only appreciate the beautiful life we have all been given, but to realize that we are all in this together… the world could be a happier place. Similes do travel and they do have the ability to make someone’s day turn upside down.  Don’t drive like a complete asshole, let someone checkout in front of you at the grocery store, and guaranteed if you do have a couple extra dollars to spend, paying for a strangers coffee will definitely make them not only have an awesome day, but probably a great work week. It’s called paying it forward, we all know it, but most don’t practice it.  We are all caught up in our own hectic life that we sometimes forget to appreciate the true value of life and more importantly, appreciate others.  It’s the little gestures in life that leave people smiling from complete strangers. Compliment people when you see something you like or if you think someone/something is beautiful, trust me… it will indeed make their day.

“It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice.”

Always. Shine. Bright.
